CNA Sample Resume

A CNA sample resume is really no different than a standard resume. These resumes are going to have the same types of requirements as a regular resume, but there are a few areas of which you will want to emphasize.

For starters, your summary statement can go first. This seems to be optional in today\'s world, but I believe you should use it and here is why.

Most people like to make a generic resume for all sorts of positions. This is a huge mistake. Your CNA resume should be specifically for that certain CNA job you are applying to. This means that you should make up a summary statement and try to match it with the job requirements of the position you are applying for.

Just this simple step will show the Human Resources people that you know the requirements and are attempting to demonstrate exactly what it is you want to do. And it should match up with what they are looking for.

Like I said, this is optional, but you are looking for a leg up. If most people are leaving it off of their cna resume, then you put it on.

The next item is always the education. This is mandatory, as it shows right from the get go that you are qualified, and let\'s them know where you were trained at. After that, I would add the skills section, and match these up with what the position is looking for. Also, it shows you are specifically looking for this job.

After that, it is the standard experience sections. But the main part, like I said earlier, is the top stuff. And as a side note, don\'t give away too much information in the resume. Don\'t tell your life story. Give enough information to get the HR person to call you. Then the rest will be up to you.
